Privacy Policy
Trend Radar is a product operated by Duo Leads. The website at duoeditor.com is operated by that same entity, which is the data controller for everything described below. You can reach us at hello@duoleads.com.
What we collect
We only collect public engagement numbers from Facebook Pages: the total reactions, comments and shares on public posts, plus the public link to those posts, for the Pages an editor has chosen to monitor. We never store the names or profiles of the people who reacted or commented, just the totals.
How we use it
The numbers are used for internal editorial work, such as ranking posts and comparing Pages against each other. They are shown only to editors who are logged in, and we never republish them anywhere public.
Storage and retention
Everything is stored in a Postgres database hosted in the European Union (Hetzner, EU). We keep raw post snapshots for 90 days, while longer running Page totals may be kept for longer. Post links are stored only so logged in editors can find their way back to a post.
Facebook login and your data
When you log in with Facebook, Trend Radar receives only your basic public profile. We never post to Facebook on your behalf. You can ask us to delete your data whenever you like, just see our data deletion page.
Where the data comes from
Public Page data is read through the official Facebook Graph API, under the access our Meta app has been granted. We do not scrape Facebook and we do not buy this data from third parties. We follow the Meta Platform Terms and the Developer Policies.
